Hello, my name is Scott Danesi. I am a manager at Peloton and part of the
ever growing BI practice and Exalytics team.
I am a problem solver that is heavily technology focused. I have been called the “Swiss Army Knife” of
technology here at Peloton. I am driven
to leverage my technology skills and experience to create creative and
innovative solutions for our clients that follow the best practices that have
been established over the years. I have
played many roles over the years, everything from Developer to Work-stream
Architect. There is not a technology out
there that I cannot learn and utilize very quickly. I also enjoy reading technical blogs to keep
up on the latest releases of Oracle products.
I graduated from Southern Illinois University where I earned
my Bachelors of Science in Information Systems Technologies. This degree was a great fit for me because of
its diverse coverage of information related concepts and technology. I also took many different classes that
interested me in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering that did not count
toward my major. I felt these classes
gave me a well rounded understanding of the technical world around me. During my time in college, I became
interested in coin operated arcade and pinball machines. I even built my own arcade machine from the
ground up.
During my free time, I like to spend time with my family and
I still find time to play/restore pinball and arcade machines. I have currently restored over 12 pinball
machines from the 1980’s to the 1990’s. I feel that these hobbies really
exercise and build my problem solving skills.
I am also currently a member of an exclusive pinball league that
competes once per month. I may not be
the best pinball player on earth, but I can hold my own against the
competition.
